Inspired by Tranmere’s fabled but all too brief foray into 'calcio continentale', this design is a nod to the only game we won in Bel Paese. Although, as many who attended the games in Italy will attest to, the surviving memories from Tranmere Rovers in Europe was not necessarily what happened on the pitch
